School Uniform Policy


At Harlow Fields School and College, we believe that wearing a school uniform is essential for fostering routines and creating a sense of belonging among our pupils. We appreciate your support in ensuring that all students adhere to this policy. Sixth Form Dress Code
Sixth Form students are permitted to wear their own choice of clothing, provided it is sensible. Please note that logos on T-shirts are discouraged.


PE Kit Requirements
All pupils are required to have a PE kit, which should include:


•    A change of clothing
•    Plimsolls
•    A tracksuit
•    Trainers for outdoor activities
•    A swimming kit


Additionally, it is essential that all uniform items (including shoes) and personal belongings are clearly labelled to prevent loss.


Lower School Uniform
•    Grey trousers or skirts
•    White polo shirts
•    Green sweatshirt
•    Sensible black shoes (no trainers)


Seasonal Items:
•    Summer: optional green school shorts or summer dresses
•    Winter: optional school coat or fleece


Upper School Uniform
•    Grey trousers or skirts
•    White polo shirts
•    Navy blue sweatshirt
•    Sensible black shoes (no trainers)


Seasonal Items:
•    Summer: optional navy shorts or summer dresses
•    Winter: optional school coat or fleece


School Logo and Non-Branded Items
Whilst school-logo clothing is available, we understand and support families who choose non-branded alternatives.


Families are also welcome to reach out to our PTFA or attend PTFA events for access to good quality second-hand uniform. If you are experiencing any difficulty obtaining uniform, please contact the school for assistance.
